Of course, Thailand is known for its low prices, and it’s great that you can stay in wonderful hotels at affordable rates! I would like to share my accommodation report since I stayed at a four-star hotel in Bangkok, Thailand for three days.^^
Lobby
We stayed this hotel.
It is conveniently located close to Samyan Station in Bangkok, making it an ideal base for your stay.
It’s a four-star hotel, so it’s very clean, and the moment I entered the hotel, there was a nice scent.
The reception area looks like this. It has a luxurious feel, which is nice.
By the way, I paid a deposit with my credit card at check-in. If nothing happens, it will be refunded later, but it took quite a while, and I was a bit nervous, haha.
They had jasmine tea as a welcome drink♪ Since it was hot, I was really happy to have something like this!
The waiting room has a wonderful atmosphere!!
I don’t have any photos, but of course, there is a restroom in the lobby, and it was very clean as well.
This is what the overall space looks like! It’s spacious!
The Room
The important part, the room!! …but I didn’t take any photos at all…
I found this picture from a travel site, but this is what the room looked like.
And it just so happened that I stayed there on my birthday, and when I returned to the room on the second day, there was a wonderful surprise waiting for me!
There was even a cake in the refrigerator! It’s really nice to have this kind of thoughtfulness, isn’t it?
Oh, by the way, there was also a refrigerator, a microwave, and an electric kettle! We received one bottle of water each day as well.
The water facilities were clean, but the room we stayed in only had a shower. The shower had no issues with water pressure, and hot water came out properly.
Pool
It may not be a luxury hotel, but it has a nice pool! It’s open at all times, and there are usually a few people swimming, so it’s not too crowded.
The chairs by the pool also have a bit of a resort feel and are nice.
And the atmosphere at night is great…!
It was hot outside, so we also went to the pool in the evening to have some fun.^^
And since the atmosphere by the pool was nice, we bought some bread at a nearby supermarket and had breakfast by the poolside. ♪
(This photo doesn’t really convey the poolside vibe… By the way, the bread was cheap and delicious! Haha!)
Reservation
We made our reservation on Agoda, which was the cheapest option we found when we researched! We went in July and stayed for about USD 90 each night. So cheap…!
It’s hard to believe we can stay at such a wonderful hotel for this price in Japan…
I hope you can compare various travel sites, but we felt that Agoda was consistently the cheapest.

Thailand is a truly wonderful country, especially because the people are so kind! It’s not too far away, the cost of living is low, and the food was delicious, so I definitely want to go back.
For those looking for hotels in Bangkok, I highly recommend the Mandarin Hotel; it was very nice!
I’ll write an article about my experiences in Thailand again soon~~
